Environmental Standards

We are an environmentally friendly company. We understand the impact that a laundry service might have on its surroundings. As such, we follow a number of processes in order to minimize our environmental footprint.

Water Recycling System – we recycle 90% of our water; a typical commercial laundry uses 20 liters of water per 1 kg of washed linen – we use 3.8 liters per 1 kg.

Steam-Less Laundry – Each piece of equipment has a separate heater that is activated only when required, reducing the energy needed to process the work by 50%, compared to boiler heated laundries.

Plastic Free Deliveries – we reduce usage of polythene for our packing purposes; instead opting to use protected cages to deliver to our customers.

Around 95 per cent of all waste water from the plant’s washing machines is reused through an innovative ceramic filtration system, combined with reverse osmosis. By using direct gas heating to heat key elements of the cleaning process and negating the need for a traditional boiler house, the plant also makes significant gas savings.
